South Jersey born, ’90s raised. Tin $tacks is an independent hip-hop artist making records on his own terms since 2017.
Born in South Jersey in 1993, Tin $tacks came up on the sound of his era. He was hooked early on the flows and styles of ’90s and early-2000s rap, studying greats like Jay-Z, Nas and Common, with André 3000 standing above them all as his favorite.
The name traces back to childhood. Tin Tin was the nickname he grew up with, and over time it became Tin $tacks. The “$tacks” is a nod to André 3000, a.k.a. 3 Stacks.
From early loosies like “Who Smoked All My Roaches” to the 2026 album Real Humans, he has built a catalog of more than forty releases: albums, EPs, freestyles and singles, alongside frequent collaborators like Cymatix Ritmos, BIG BODY KITO and Bew.
